I survived the Oklahoma City Blizzard of 2009!

So, I joined a group on Facebook called "I was in the Oklahoma Snow Blizzard of 2009!" I went looking at all of the pictures that people uploaded, and thought I'd pass some along. (I looked at each picture, all 5300+) Anyway, here are a few jems from other blizzard survivors. Enjoy.

Some people broke into this stranded beer truck and stole the beer.

This poor car caught fire and burned right up.

I guess I'll have to wait for the next blizzard.

A semi lost its load. Those are PS3's.

Yeah, I felt this way too.

I'm not really sure how a semi half way jumps a highway median.

But, here's proof it can be done.

I saw a ton of cars on their sides for 2 days.

This squirrel was working hard.

This was the 50+ car pile up on I-40.

This was part of the reason I was stuck on I-35 for nearly 4 hours.

You'd think the third one would have gotten the hint.

This is exactly what I experienced while stuck on I-35.

I got out several times to scrape my windshield in 60mph winds.

Not. Fun.

Sometimes beautiful things come from the most inconvenient circumstances.
